Kim Sherman is a highly regarded independent producer based with her family in Los Angeles, CA. Her producing work through her company, Wildlife Pictures, has brought acclaim from industry leaders, including a fellowship with the Sundance Institute, recognition on Film Independent’s “25 New Faces of Film” (2013), and a spot on the Hollywood Reporter’s “40 Producers to Watch” list. 

She’s best known for producing the ground-breaking home-invasion thriller, You’re Next, and the innovative found-footage horror anthology, V/H/S. She’s also known for challenging auteur productions such as A Teacher and Sun Don’t Shine. Most recently, Kim produced No Man of God, starring Elijah Wood and Luke Kirby, as well as the Anna Gunn and Linus Roache chamber piece, The Apology, through SpectreVision / Company X.

She learned her fierce work ethic as a drummer in the Columbia, Missouri, underground music scene, where she toured and recorded with Jerusalem & The Starbaskets. For ten years Sherman served as the Music Director for the True/False Documentary Film Festival, where she designed and built the long-running and beloved live music component.
